Refund Policy

First Principles Psychology offers digital educational programs, professional trainings, downloadable materials, and related learning experiences.
We want participants to understand the refund terms before purchasing.
1. 14-Day Refund Period
Unless a specific offering states otherwise, you may request a refund within 14 calendar days of the original purchase date.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to:

- Your name
- Email address used for the purchase
- Name of the training or product
- Date of purchase
- Reason for the refund request
Eligible refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method.
2. Digital Training and Course Access
Our trainings may provide immediate or scheduled access to digital educational material, including:
- Video or recorded course modules
- Written course materials
- Framework maps
- Clinical illustrations
- Case vignettes
- Downloadable resources
- Future course updates
- Live implementation discussions
Because these products include digital intellectual property that may be accessed immediately, the 14-day refund policy is intended to provide a reasonable opportunity to evaluate the program while protecting against substantial use of the material followed by a refund request.
3. When a Refund May Not Be Available
A refund may be declined where, before requesting the refund, you have substantially consumed or used the training.
Examples may include situations where you have:
- Completed a substantial portion of the training
- Accessed or downloaded a substantial portion of the included resources
- Attended the included live implementation discussion
- Shared, copied, recorded, reproduced, or distributed course materials
- Previously received a refund for the same training
- Violated the Terms of Use
- Requested a refund more than 14 calendar days after purchase
We will assess unusual circumstances reasonably and in good faith.
Nothing in this Policy limits any refund or cancellation right that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
4. After 14 Days
Except where required by applicable law, purchases are considered final once the 14-day refund period has expired.
Refunds will generally not be provided because:
- You did not complete the training
- You changed your mind after the refund period
- You no longer have time to participate
- You did not attend an optional or included live component
- You did not use your course access
- The material was different from your personal expectations where the training was accurately described before purchase
Please review the training description and included materials carefully before purchasing.
5. Live Discussions and Events
Certain trainings may include one or more live implementation discussions with Dr. Zachary Wheeler.
Unless otherwise stated, an included live discussion is considered part of the overall training purchase and does not have a separate cash value.
Once you have attended the live component, the purchase will generally no longer qualify for a voluntary refund.
If First Principles Psychology cancels a separately paid live event without providing a reasonable replacement or rescheduled date, participants will be offered an appropriate remedy, which may include a refund for the cancelled component.
6. Pre-Launch or Advance Purchases
Some trainings may be announced before all course materials are released.
Where a training is purchased before its official release, the applicable training page may specify the expected launch period.
If First Principles Psychology permanently cancels a paid training before making the purchased program available, customers who purchased that training will receive either:
- A full refund, or
- Another option offered with the customer's agreement
A change to an estimated release date does not automatically constitute cancellation.
7. Duplicate or Incorrect Charges
If you believe you were charged more than once for the same purchase or were charged an incorrect amount, please contact us promptly.
Verified duplicate or erroneous charges will be corrected or refunded as appropriate.
8. Team or Organizational Purchases
Purchases made for multiple participants, organizations, institutions, or professional teams may be subject to separate written terms.
Where separate purchase terms have been agreed to, those terms will control in the event of a conflict with this general Refund Policy.
9. Processing Approved Refunds
Once a refund has been approved, it will be submitted to the original payment method.
Banks, card issuers, payment processors, and other financial institutions control how quickly the refunded amount appears in your account.
First Principles Psychology is not responsible for processing delays caused by those third parties after the refund has been issued.
10. Access After a Refund
When a refund is issued for a digital training or educational product, access to that product and its associated materials may be terminated.
You must not continue to use, reproduce, distribute, or share downloaded materials associated with a refunded purchase except where otherwise permitted by law.
11. Third-Party Purchases
Some First Principles Psychology products or trainings may be purchased or delivered through third-party platforms such as Kajabi or other payment and course-delivery providers.
The technical processing of a refund may therefore also be subject to the procedures of the relevant payment provider.
Purchases made through a third-party marketplace or seller may be governed by that seller's refund process where applicable.
12. Changes to This Policy
First Principles Psychology may update this Refund Policy from time to time.
Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law.
The version of the Refund Policy presented at or applicable to the time of purchase will generally govern that purchase.
